The Creative Story & Inspiration
This original morning painting ‘Sunburst Morning’ came quite naturally with the vibrant brushstrokes which combined colourful tones with the yellows and oranges on the horizon. The texture created the light and atmosphere in the evocative morning radiance that brings a sense of calm and tranquility to the time of day.
It’s a very spontaneous painting which I always gravitate to when the art is smaller. I love the yellow brushstrokes on the horizon and the touches of green in the foreground giving the impression of sun on fields below. The strokes of light blue in the sky give the impression of first light just before the sun takes the shadows away. This morning painting on canvas is mounted beautifully and draws your eye right into the light ascending upwards creating gorgeous waves of colour.
You just start to wonder what the day will bring.
