Molten Sunrise: original impressionist sunrise acrylic painting
Inspiration behind this painting:
I really enjoyed painting this spontaneous smaller canvas where the broader brushstrokes create a more abstract feel with bold colours and texture. The energy of this sunrise acrylic painting combined with the movement in the brushstrokes suggests the light and form of the landscape more intuitively.
I remember when I painted this original impressionist sunrise acrylic painting with my favourite music in my ears, the brushstrokes were quite continuous hardly lifting off the canvas less still washing the brush. It all came together easily as the different tones and subtle colour variations in both the sky and the foreground found their balance.
Just a little update:
Even though this painting has now sold and found it’s forever home after being in an exhibition at the ‘Wykeham Gallery’ it’s still one of my favourites with the abstract brushstrokes on the horizon and the blended layers in the sky.
If you like this original canvas don’t feel you’re going to miss out on energetic brushstrokes and rich warm tones, you can find another to fall in love with here or below.
“As the sun slowly set the evening breeze made the light shimmer into the descent into twilight.”
How to Style ‘Molten Sunrise’ in Your Home
Hanging paintings which are not too big like this one (40 × 40 cm) you can instantly transform a room. As you can see below it looks just as good with and without a frame, and you can see how easy it is to display your new painting to maximise the impact and complement your interior design. Smaller paintings can be much easier to hang as they don’t need as much consideration as larger pieces.
You can just stand them on a mantelpiece, on a shelf, on a few books or on a table whilst you find the perfect space for your new painting. As you can see below a new original painting would enhance even the smallest of areas and bring harmony to a small office space or little nook.
